Yes, those funky glasses you are wearing (or will soon be wearing) are made of 100% recycled materials! This is how you give old plastic bottles and other waste a new life. We specifically go for single-use plastic products. Why? Because these waste products have been used once or only for a very short time. They are also the ones that most often end up being thrown into nature, burdening the climate and our health. Think of water bottles, cotton buds, balloons, disposable cutlery and so on and so forth. Too bad this is going to go to waste, right? Fortunately, there are bright minds like you and René(e) Lunettes ;)

The term "fast fashion" is something widely known by now, but here's a quick refresher. It includes clothes and accessories that make their introduction into the fashion world, are mass-produced and then quickly go out of style. As a result, products are of lower quality and often made in irresponsible ways. Issues such as child labour, harmful chemicals and sweatshops are no stranger to the world of fast fashion. The opinion of René(e) Lunettes and many others on fast fashion? Absolutely unnecessary and downright irresponsible. 

This is precisely why we decided not to go along with the current fashion trends. Slow and steady wins the race. We go for a timeless and classic look that exudes class in any era. And because one is too lonesome, we have designed two models that never go out of style. Combine this with some funky colours and you get the heart and soul of René(e) Lunettes.
